 Greetings

Dear Members and foreign colleagues,

Welcome to the 37th Annual Congress of KSCCM in conjunction with 12th Basic Critical Care Review Course (BCCRC) and Asian Critical Care Conference, at Accor hotel(SEOUL DRAGON CITY), Seoul, Apr 27-29, 2018.

From this event and onwards, KSCCM annual congress will be held as an international congress per approval by Korean Academy of Medical Sciences. Participants will enjoy outstanding lectures of domestic and international

speakers in critical care, and can interact with foreign delegates coming from regional Asian countries. Foreign delegates may apply for award upon submission of abstract. Selected delegates will be given either travel grant or free registration according to the scientific merit of their abstract.

Basic Critical Care Review Course held every year in conjunction with the annual congress is especially for new comers both physicians and nurses to critical care medicine. For Korean attendees, the BCCRC is a mandatory course for qualification for subspecialty examination.

The venue of the congress, Accor hotel, was opened just Oct 2017, as part of the hotel complex, Dragon City, and boasts of cutting-edge facilities for conferences and meetings. The hotel is also easily accessible by public transportation and very close to many tourist spots of Seoul.

Through excellent scientific program and participation of prominent speakers, I believe the 37th Annual KSCCM congress will be a satisfactory memory for all participants.

Looking forward to seeing you in Apr, 2018.

Chae-Man Lim, MD, PhD, FCCM
The President of Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine
