I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our society members who are busy taking care of patients at ICU every day and previous senior members who have developed our society into more excellent academic society as it is. Our Korea Society of Critical Care Medicine was founded by the persons who had interest In this upcoming academic conference, we’ve prepared a special lecture on medical ethics, life and death by newly introducing humanities class related to critical care medicine. We are highly looking forward to witnessing another different aspect we are apt to miss in a complicated medical service environment.

As always we have done, we’ve invited some celebrated lecturers including the prepare the opportunity to listen to their updated knowledgeable and far-sighted views, so you will have to exchange a lot of views with them. In addition, the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine consists of the members from a diversity of special fields, so we grouped them into each specialized field in order to extend the breadth of opportunity to even busy members.

In closing, we hope that this academic conference will be a ground for friendly exchange between junior& senior members and co-members who you haven’t met frequently at ordinary times.
